This is my take on a friend, Jaclyn’s, Mars Bar slice. It only requires 4 ingredients and can be whipped up in about 10 minutes. Great for those last minute guests or children’s birthday parties.
Ingredients
- 4 regular Mars bars (54g each), roughly chopped
- 50g unsalted butter, roughly chopped
- 3 cups rice bubbles
- 200g milk chocolate, roughly chopped
- 20g unsalted butter, roughly chopped
Method
Grease and line your slice tin with baking paper.
Place the 50g of butter and chopped mars bars into a microwave proof bowl. Heat for 1 minute in the microwave then stir, if required heat for another 30 seconds until melted.
Pour rice bubbles into melted mixture one cup at a time, mix gently until combined.
Press into a slice tin with the back of a spoon. Set aside.
Melt the chocolate and remaining butter in a double boiler. Pour over top of rice bubble mixture and spread evenly.
Cool in fridge until chocolate hardens.
Lift out of tin and place onto large chopping board. Cut into squares to serve.
Makes 15-20 pieces (depending on your preferred size).
Yum Yum! Getting hungry after looking at your bake! =)
