Peanut Butter Slice

This recipe combines two of my faves… chocolate and peanut butter. It is a very easy no bake slice that can be whipped up in 10mins and ready to eat in an hour or so.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Slice

Ingredients:

Base:

  • 1 pack superwine biscuits
  • 2 cups rice bubbles
  • 200g butter, melted
  • 1 cup smooth peanut butter

Topping:

  • 200g dark chocolate
  • 4 tbsp smooth peanut butter

Method:

Line a slice baking tin with baking paper. Place superwine biscuits into a food processor and ground to a fine crumb. Add biscuit crumb, rices and peanut butter into a bowl. Add melted butter and mix to combine. Press base mixture into lined baking tin and place in the fridge.

To make topping melt chocolate and remainder peanut butter over a double boiler. Gently stir until mixture is liquid but do not burn. Pour chocolate mixture over base mixture and place back in the fridge. This will be ready to eat in an hour. Once firm cut into individual pieces. This slice will keep in the fridge for up to 2 weeks (if it lasts that long!)
