These homemade Reece’s peanut butter cups are an healthier alternative and so moorish. They have been made with natural peanut butter and 82% dark chocolate. Great after dinner treat.
Ingredients
- 200g dark chocolate (I used Green & Black Organic 82% Dark Chocolate)
- 3/4 cups natural peanut butter (I have used Pic’s Peanut Butter, look for one with under 6% sugar)
- 4 Tbsp coconut oil
- 12 x cupcake paper cases
Method
Melt dark chocolate and 2 Tbsp of coconut oil in a double boiler. Spoon a Tbsp of the melted chocolate mixture into each of the paper cases. Place in fridge to chill whilst preparing the peanut butter.
Melt peanut butter and remainder 2 Tbsp of coconut oil in the microwave for 30 seconds. Mix to combine.
Remove cases from fridge and spoon a Tbsp of the peanut butter mixture on top. Place back into fridge for 5 minutes. Remove and spoon remainder dark chocolate mixture on top.
Chill again in fridge for at least 30 minutes then grab as you need. Store in fridge for up to 2 weeks but they won’t last that long!
